A NEW animal adoption programme is set to help a community education farm near Uttoxeter.
TURN Education at Stramshall has launched the scheme at the same time as celebrating the arrival of baby donkey, Jessica. The adoption programme will help fund food for the animals.
Caroline Hardeman-Mason is Managing Director TURN Education CIC.
She said: “We are delighted to welcome baby Jessica born to mum Penny 10 days ago.
“Both mother and foal are doing really well and big brother Dylan can’t wait to meet her and have a play when she is a bit bigger.
“If anyone would like to adopt Jessica or one of our other donkeys or animals we have a brand new adoption programme.
“Details can be found on our Facebook page and will soon be on our website and all the money raised goes directly to help feed our TURN Animal team.”
Silver Adoption costs just £40 for the whole year and includes:
* A personalised certificate
* Animal Fact Sheet
* Photo of adopted animal
* Adopters Day Invite to TURN Education
* Badge
* Three updates throughout the year and birthday and Christmas contact
* Knitted donkey toy
Bronze adoption is £20 and Gold Adoption is £60 which includes a toy and an activity session invite.
