DILHORNE Bowling Club is inviting new members to join its ranks for the 2018 season.
The club fields a dozen teams – men’s, ladies and mixed – in local leagues each week.
“We presently have around 40 members but sometimes find ourselves short at weekends,” said club secretary Brian Hill.
The club, which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year, having been founded in 1938, is based at the recreation ground on New Road, Dilhorne.

The club is holding its AGM in the pavillion at the recreation ground on February 24 (7.30pm).
KINGSLEY Bowling Club are holding their AGM on Sunday, February 18, starting at 7pm.
“If you are interested in playing bowls and maybe joining, please feel free to come along to find out more about our friendly club,” said a club spokesman.
The club are based off Dovedale Road, Kingsley and have a membership of 50 feeding eight different teams.
