A ROYAL fund for wounded servicemen and women has appointed explorer Levison Wood as its first-ever ambassador.

The Endeavour Fund is a Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry project which helps give veterans the chance to rediscover their self-belief through physical challenges.
And Lev – a former Painsley Catholic College student who grew up in Forsbrook – was revealed as the inaugural ambassador of the fund last week.
The announcement was made ahead of the second Endeavour Fund awards, attended by Prince Harry and fiancee Meghan Markle, last week.
Lev presented at the awards, which recognise the achievements of wounded, injured and sick veterans who have taken on extraordinary physical and adventure challenges to help with their recovery and rehabilitation.
