THOUSANDS of pounds in cash, booze and kitchen equipment have been stolen from Indian restaurants in the Moorlands.
Three eateries – including Chandni Cottage at Draycott and Mantra at Cellarhead – have been targeted in the past week.
Police are not linking the crimes at the moment, but all three burglaries are under investigation.
Thieves hit Chandni Cottage during the early hours of Monday, making off with around £10,000 of cash and goods.
The building’s alarm was disabled and a breeze block used to smash a rear window to gain access between midnight and 7am.
