POLICE have named a 28-year-old woman who died suddenly after she collapsed in a Cheadle street.
Luminata Cepreaga, from Cheadle, died in Tape Street on Saturday, March 31.
Emergency services were called to reports that a woman had collapsed at around 10.22am.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a woman was in cardiac arrest.
“One ambulance and one paramedic car attended but nothing could be done and the woman was confirmed dead at the scene.”
Staffordshire Police were also called to the scene and later confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances around her death.
They said a report was being prepared for the coroner.
A police spokesman said: “We can now confirm that the women’s name is Luminata Cepreaga, aged 28, from Cheadle.
“Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.”
